Most Anticipated Phones in 2019

As we are approaching the time when the big players in the mobile phone market are revealing their new devices, we decided to take a closer look of the five, in our opinion, most anticipated devices in 2019.

With the Pixel 4, Google is looking to move up and show some serious competition to phone giants like Apple and Samsung.

Even though, when launching their handsets previously, Google tried to keep the details regarding their latest phones a secret, this year they experienced a series of leaks which lead to them revealing many features of the phone. The biggest innovation in this phone is the motion-sensing radar. This feature will help the phone to recognise gestures and know when its owner is nearby. You will be able to change songs, snooze alarms and answer phone calls with just a wave of your hand. Another novelty of the Pixel phones will be the face unlock, which was first introduced by Apple in 2017. Google is claiming that this feature will be improved, and you won’t need to lift your phone up and pose in a certain way to get the phone unlocked. The Pixel 4 will do it all for you (of course, if you actually are the owner of the phone). You also will be able to use the Face ID for app authentication and secure payments. The phone will also feature dual cameras on the back and a possible support for dual sim cards.

It is expected that the new Google Pixel phone will be launched in early October 2019 and will be priced starting from approximately £800, depending on the memory size.

But now the new Huawei Mate X is ready to meet its admirers.
Given the high price (around £1970), the new Mate X will be packed with the newest technologies and features. To start with, the device will feature a triple Leica camera system with 40 megapixels. No wonder Huawei phones are known by their camera quality… This phone will not have a front camera, but, when folded, you will be able to make selfies with the rear camera and that means – suuuuper high quality selfies. Instagram hold on!

The new Mate X will be 5G compatible and will have four integrated 5G antennas for an even better 5G signal. Another great feature of this phone is the support of dual sim cards so the phone can be used for work and personal use at the same time. Also, the display of the phone is notch-free, and it is only 5.4mm thick. Huawei claim that with Huawei Supercharge, the Mate X will charge up to 85% in 30 minutes.
The most important thing we all want to know is about the folding of the screen. Have they learned from Samsung? How does it work? According to expertreviews, the folding is seamless and effortless. However, the real judgement will be given when the phone is launched, since only couple of people from outside the Huawei centres have had the phone in their hands.

We are sure that there will be many more features which have not been revealed yet and this could be one of the best and most innovative phones ever made. But we shall wait and see.

After a series of unfortunate events surrounding the Galaxy Fold, Samsung is hoping that this September their new phone will shut the mouths of all critics.
One of the greatest things about this phone is its six (!!!) cameras – three at the back and three on the front. Even though the camera is not as impressive as the Huawei Mate X’s 40 MP, the performance of it is still excellent.

Samsung has followed Apple and removed the headphone jack, which has received a fair deal of controversy. Bye bye 3.5mm headphones, it’s been real. If you are wondering about the size of the phone – we don’t have any good news for you. The Galaxy fold is quite big and heavy. Its thickness is almost double of most smartphones which means that you will have to consider buying a little bag for your new toy – a pocket might not be enough. The phone does, however, come in various colours – Space Silver, Cosmos Black, Martian Green and Astro Blue. The Galaxy Fold’s battery life should be better than ever before since it has two power packs – one in each half of the phone.

Months before, when the phone was supposed to launch, Samsung experienced some problems with the Galaxy Fold’s folding system. Now, the phone has been created to withstand more than 200,000 folds and unfolds which means that you can open the Galaxy Fold at least 100 times a day for five years. Phew!
The new Samsung Galaxy Fold is expected to launch in September and the price tag will be hefty – it will be priced from £1630.

While we still don’t know the name of the new Apple handset, people speculate that it will be called iPhone 11. And apparently there are three new iPhones coming out – a budget version of iPhone XR, a midrange flagship like the iPhone XS and supersize model like the iPhone XS Max.
Like Google, Apple likes to keep silent about its newest releases. But, as always, there are people who leak information and we are able to have a sneak peek to potentially the most anticipated phone of 2019.

According to cnet, there will not be any big surprises from Apple this year. The iPhones expected to be launched will be a lot like the 2018 iPhones. But not the same.
The new iPhone will feature a new camera – a triple lens one. But that is not it. Apparently, the iPhone 11 will have a feature called Smart Frame. It is a tool which captures the area around photo’s subject. That means you will be able to add effects, adjust lighting and focus things in post. This feature will also allow to add something to a picture which is slightly out of shot (if you are an extremely clumsy photographer and manage to not get a person’s head in the picture, iPhone is there to help).

According to cnet, the iPhone A12 processor will most likely get an upgrade to A13, which means even more powerful phones and better user experiences. These next-generation processors are so ahead of the rest of the industry that they will still be competitive with the best Android phones in two years.

Even though the biggest competitors of Apple – Samsung, Huawei and Google have introduced or will be introducing 5G phones this year, it is almost certain that there will be no 5G iPhones in 2019. The good news is that the new generation iPhones will support bilateral charging which means that you will be able to charge another iPhone or Airpods with a wireless charging case. Also, the iPhones will feature larger batteries, which will mean – better battery life.
It is expected that the new iPhone will still come with a hefty price tag like its predecessors. Even though this year probably won’t be the year of the most shocking iPhone ever created (we might be wrong), everyone is still pretty excited to see what the new iPhone launch in September will bring.

This year Samsung are spoiling us with quite a few releases, but they sure know how to keep things interesting – the new Galaxy Note 10 looks as good as ever.
Similar to the S10 range, the Note 10 and 10+ will have the all-screen design with the front camera located in the screen. These handsets will have 6.3-inch and 6.8-inch AMOLED displays. Most of the Note 10 and Note 10+ will have a triple camera set up. It is very possible that the Note 10 camera will have some seriously impressive zoom functionality as well.

According to T3, Samsung will probably ditch the rounded corners in favour of much cleaner lines, similar to the design of Huawei P30 Pro. Same as the Galaxy Fold, the Note 10 and Note 10 + won’t have 3.5mm headphone port and will move on to the USB C-Port.
There is still quite a lot of speculation around the processor of the Note 10 – whether it will be the Snapdragon 855 or the not yet revealed Exynos 9820 (built by Samsung). If it will be the latter, it will give a serious boost to phone’s performance and battery life.

It is expected that the phone will be quite pricy – ranging from £865-£945. However, we don’t have to wait for too long. We will know everything about these phones in less than a week.
