iPhone 11 Pro Max vs Galaxy Note 10

While we’re still waiting for the big Apple launch next Tuesday, people are already starting to think which of the Top 2 phone manufacturers will have the best phone this year. Will it be Samsung with its Galaxy Note 10 or Apple with the iPhone 11 series?

We looked at some ‘official’ and unofficial leaks available online to compare the Galaxy Note 10 and iPhone 11 Pro Max. While we still can’t be 100 percent sure about the specs and design of the new iPhone, we have quite a strong feeling that some leaks are pretty close to what is soon to become reality.

Power

Both devices should have the same battery capacity – 3500 mAh, which means you can listen to music uninterrupted for 60 hours (assuming you are not running any other apps).

This is quite an improvement in battery capacity for both phones, but we would have to wait until we get the iPhone 11 Pro Max in our hands to actually test the capability of the battery.

The Galaxy Note comes with 256GB of memory size, while the iPhone 11 Pro Max is rumoured to give its new users three choices of internal storage size – 128GB, 256GB and 512GB. Apple will probably win over the people who want more memory size.

The Galaxy Note 10 does have a bigger RAM (8GB to 6GB of iPhone) which means that potentially the phone is able to have more apps open in the background and still work pretty fast.

Iphone 11 Pro Max and all other phones in the new iPhone 11 line up will be powered with the new A13 Bionic chip which is rumoured to be the best phone chip in the market by quite a margin. Samsung’s device is run by the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 855. Even though Snapdragon is a very capable chip, we would have to give this one to Apple and A13.

Display

Most likely the iPhone 11 Pro Max will feature a big display – 6.5 inches, while the Galaxy Note 10 has a 6.3-inch display.

The iPhone will also have higher resolution screen (1242×2688 pixels) while the Note 10 has 1080×2280 pixel screen. However, the Note’s Dynamic AMOLED screen technology vs iPhones OLED delivers way better display quality. Both phones should be water and dust resistant.

Camera

Both phones will, most likely, feature a triple lens camera (well, we know that Note 10 does and are 99.9% sure that new iPhone does as well).

The main camera for both phones has 12 megapixels with optical image stabilisation and phase detection autofocus. The iPhone’s main camera also has sapphire crystal lens cover. The second camera comes with 12 megapixels and a 2x Optical zoom for both devices. The third camera has an ultra-wide feature for both handsets. The Note 10 camera features 16MP while Iphone 11 Pro Max features the same 12MP. The Quad LED flash of iPhone does deliver better quality photos than the LED flash of Note 10. Video recording experience should be about the same for both devices, however the iPhone will allow you to take pictures while you’re recording a video.

Front, or Selfie camera seems to be a bit better for iPhone – it will feature 12 MP while Note’s front camera is only 10 megapixels. Note 10 does, however, offer autofocus, while iPhone users will have to find the best focus themselves (that can be challenging, as we all know).

Extra Features

For the first time Apple will, most likely, release a phone with a Stylus called the Apple Pen.

Before the pen was one of the only features differentiating the iPhone and Samsung’s Note series. We don’t know much about the functionality of this pen, therefore we all have to wait until the iPhone 11 Pro Max launches to make the verdict.

Price

While we still don’t know the exact price of the iPhone 11 Pro Max, but the rumours suggest that it will be priced from £1099 while the Galaxy Note 10 is significantly cheaper with its price starting from £869.
