Learn more about levels of covers and what they mean for you

  • We all get super excited for our holidays, but sometimes things go wrong.
  • Last thing we want is for our holiday to be cancelled or cut short, but as much as we hope all will go well, unprecedented situations could occur.
  • In this case, without travel insurance, you might not get any of your money back if you have to cancel or cut your trip short. With loveit coverit Travel Insurance, we will reimburse you up to a certain limit if you have to cancel or abandon your trip.
  • If you choose our Essential policy, you’ll get reimbursed for up to £1,000 of costs, £2,500 if you choose Plus and £5,000 if you choose our Premium policy.

  • A health crisis abroad is a gloomy topic but it’s the most important element of yourm policy, so you don’t want to trip up when choosing your levels of cover.
  • Medical bills abroad can come to eye watering amounts and both our Essential & Plus packages will cover emergency costs plus the repatriation costs to get you home to the tune of £10,000,000.
  • However, if you are particularly concerned about medical expenses, maybe for example, you have a pre-existing health condition which increases the chances of you falling ill, then you could have up to £15,000,000 cover in our Premium package.
  • Aside from medical emergencies all cover levels cater for emergency dental treatments and hospital treatments.

  • When your travel plans go awry it can feel very stressful and send you into a tailspin, so it’s a good idea to make sure you have levels of cover to choose from that suit your journey best.
  • This is particularly important if your plans involve interconnecting flights and transfers.
  • Our Plus and Premium packages will include a total amount of Travel Disruption cover available along with delayed departure cover and missed departure included in the Essential policy, too.
  • The amount of total cover for disruptions can range from £2,500 with a Plus package to £5000 if you go Premium. The missed departure cover can range from £300 for Essential Policy to £1,500 for Premium.

  • It will of course be important to you when travelling that you are covered for any loss or theft of your possessions and money.
  • Perhaps you have splashed out on an expensive digital camera to take some sun kissed snaps or you are on a mission to shop till you drop.
  • Our Essential, Plus and Premium packages will cover you for delayed baggage, the loss of important documents, personal money & cash (over 16s) up to a certain limit which you can see in the table above.
  • For example, if your baggage is delayed and you have the Essential Policy, it would cover you for up to £300 while Plus & Premium policies would cover you up to £400.

  • It’s important you have access to legal representation should anything happen whilst you are away so you can select different levels of cover to include personal liability and any additional legal expenses or assistance.
  • If you are held responsible for an injury or damage to property, then you will have a suitable safety net, should you need to pay out for compensation.
  • Legal fees can prove very costly so all of our cover levels, including Essential, will cover up to £20,000 in legal expenses.
  • Our Essential Policy includes up to £1 Million Personal Liability cover, Plus Policy gets you £1.5Million and the most comprehensive policy, Premium, will get you £2 Million Personal Liability cover.

  • Again, we don’t want to put a serious downer on your upcoming holiday, but you want to consider the different levels of cover for any accident you have, the consequences being a life changing injury or even death.
  • Depending on your policy of choice, you will have different monetary amounts of cover – Essential Policy will cover you for up to £5,000, Plus for £10,000 and Premium for £15,000.

  • If you own a pet and have pre-booked a non-refundable kennel for it, but you have to cancel your holiday or cut it short, we will reimburse you for the cost of it up until the cover level, depending on the policy you’ve chosen (Pet Care comes as standard for our Plus and Premium Policies).
  • In addition, if you’re unable to return home because of an injury, illness or death or delay to the public transport system on your return journey, we will reimburse the kennel or cattery costs until you are able to return home.
  • Our Plus Policy covers up to £200 of kennel costs whereas our Premium policy covers up to £500 of the costs.
