“Gadget(s)” includes portable electronic items such as mobile phones, tablets, iPads, e-readers/Kindles, sat navs, handheld games consoles, portable DVD players, headphones, wireless speakers, cameras, laptops, iPods/MP3 players, and smart watches (subject to the policy definition and conditions). Is gadget cover automatically included?

Does gadget cover include drones?
No. The Gadget Cover Extension does not provide cover for loss, damage, or theft of a drone. Terms and conditions apply.
Does it cover laptop mechanical breakdown?
No. The Gadget Cover Extension does not provide cover for mechanical breakdown of a laptop computer. Terms and conditions apply.
What if my phone is stolen and used fraudulently?
Subject to the policy terms, gadget cover may reimburse unauthorised calls or data downloads if your mobile phone is accidentally lost or stolen and used fraudulently, but you must report the incident to your service provider to bar and blacklist your phone within 24 hours of discovery, and other conditions and limits apply. What are the key conditions if something goes missing?
If theft or loss occurs, you must report it to the police within 48 hours and obtain a police report. Cover also depends on how the item was stored and whether reasonable precautions were taken (for example, there is no cover where a gadget is left unattended in a public place). How long do I have to tell you about a claim?
You should provide full details as soon as reasonably possible, and within 28 days of becoming aware you need to make a claim. Terms and conditions apply.
